The Sioux Falls Stampede are in their 13th season of play in the United States Hockey League (USHL), the top amateur league in the United States. Players are between the ages of 16-20 and play to earn Division I college scholarships. The Stampede have placed 95% of their players into Division I programs. They have also had 13 former players play in the National Hockey League. The Herd’s season runs early October through mid-April.
